What Did Jesus Say About Christmas in Gospel?

Question

What Did Jesus Say About Christmas in Gospel?

Answer

Christmas is commemoration of descendance of The God’s Wisdom or The God’s Word to the earth, taking a human form, and staying among human.

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. (John 6: 38)

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of “the only begotten” of the “Father”,) full of grace and truth. (John 1: 14)

“Taking a human form” means He created a human Jesus as His temple (John 2: 21) and attached to the human Jesus as his essence.

But he spake of the temple of his body. (John 2: 21)

When Jesus said “I came down from heaven”, He referred to his essence, The God’s Wisdom, and did not refer to his human nature.

Christmas is not only to celebrate Jesus birth as exemplified by the angels (Luke 2: 13-14) and the shepherds (Luke 2: 20), but also to commemorate descendance of The God’s Wisdom or The God’s Word to the earth, taking a human form, and staying among human (John 1: 14, John 6: 38).

Note

(i) A figurative word “the only begotten” refers to The God’s Wisdom or The God’s Word, i.e, the essence of God.

(ii) A figurative word “Father” refers to YHWH, The GOD, or, in Arabic Bible and Arabic believers, Allah or Allah SWT.
