This name was hellenized to Ιεσους (read “Iesuus”) because Jesus live in Hellenistic world, so he also spoke and was called in Greek in daily basis. Ιεσους (read “Iesuus”) was, then, anglicized to “Jesus” and arabicized to “Isa”.
