Disinformation
The virgin birth is only mentioned in Matthew (1:18) and Luke (1:26-35). It is mentioned in neither Mark nor John. Why virgin birth is only mentioned in Matthew and Luke? Why isn’t the virgin birth of Jesus mentioned by all four gospel writers? How can you believe in the virgin birth if it’s only mentioned in two of the gospels?
The Truth….
Disinformation in form of question above stands on false tacit assumption: there were 4 gospels. The assumption views Gospel as 4 separated 2-dimensional objects.
The truth is in opposition with the false assumption above. The truth is Bible mentions gospel in singular form. It means, there is only 1 Gospel recounted by four reporters standing on 4 standpoints or 4 points of view.

Each reporter has different angle and focused on different dimensions of 1 Jesus.
- Matthew focused on Jesus kingship.
- Mark focused on Jesus servitude.
- Luke focused on Jesus humanity.
- John focused on Jesus essence.
Regarding Jesus birth, they reported 1 reality from different angles as well.
- Matthew reported from angle of “Joseph’s wife gave birth to Jesus when she was still virgin.”
- Luke reported from angle of “Virgin Mary gave birth to Jesus”.
- John reported from angle of “Jesus birth was The Word descended to the earth and made to flesh”, implying virgin birth, instead of natural fertilization.
- Mark did not report Jesus birth because his account was aimed at Jesus disciples who personally know Jesus, including his birth, parent, and genealogy.
Besides, two witnesses are all that is necessary to confirm a matter (John 8: 17, Isaiah 8: 2, Deuteronomy 19:15).
It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. (John 8: 17)
One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established (Deuteronomy 19: 15).
And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah. (Isaiah 8: 2)
Witnesses of Jesus birth from 3 reporters — Matthew, Luke, and John — were already meeting requirement.
